One of the most memorable Disney cartoons from my youth:

Thanks to YouTube user jillem for the upload

Title: Plutopia
Director: Charles Nichols
Written by: Ralph Wright, Al Bertino
Production info: Walt Disney Studios, 1951
Summary: Pluto joins Mickey on a camping getaway, only to find that he’s not permitted to sleep indoors. After being taunted by Milton the Cat while chained and muzzled outdoors, Pluto has a lucid dream in which he encounters a masochistic incarnation of Milton who screeches like a banshee and rewards him with sumptuous treats every time Pluto “punishes” him. A truly surreal presentation from vintage Disney.

So even SM cat understands the efficacy of rewards-based positive training. And even good pups can be trained to do evil with the right kind of reinforcement!
