It’s February — which means it’s time once again for Roll of 28, an annual photo project that I’ve participated in since 2007. The concept is simple: During the shortest month of the year, the goal is to take and post just one photo each day. The posted photo must have been taken on that day.
Your reward at the end of the month is a personal archive of vividly documented memories and the satisfaction of seeing the project through.

I begin with a shot of the Bows’ “Aunt” Maggie and her recently adopted pit bull, Kailani, whose exuberant kisses and lap-stomping affections I got to experience for the first time today.
Miss Daisy and her “roomies” are doing the ‘Roll of 28′ as well! With a camera phone most likely, buuuut it still is a fun project even without breaking out the “good” camera.
