This picture may seem insignificant, but it was a pretty big deal. It took a long time for Bowdu to allow Bowpi near himself and anything that even resembled a food dish.
Bowpi kept pressing the issue in her own gentle, insistent, almost oblivious way. Eventually, after over a year, Bowdu finally consented to sharing a water dish with her.
Only Bowpi, though.
Any other dog’s gotta back off.
Aww, how sweet! Conker will share, with the Girls and a select few dog buddies, but only if they insist that they drink at the same time as he. He’s never happy about it though, and will chase them off when he feels they have had their share. Worst incident was when he defended an entire stretch of riverbank from another dog… Poor dog just wanted a drink!
